Stanley L. Friedman is a former federal prosecutor with the United States Department of Justice and his law practice focuses on white collar criminal defense and complex civil litigation. From 1989 to 1995, Mr. Friedman was an Assistant United States Attorney for the Central District of California and was assigned to the Major Frauds Unit. As a federalprosecutor, Mr. Friedman was lead counsel in several noteworthy cases such as the successful prosecution of a nationwide insurance fraud scheme for which he received a professional commendation from a Congressional Commission.

Since leaving the United States Attorney's Office, and resuming his private practice in 1995, Mr. Friedman has represented professionals such as attorneys, accountants, doctors, pharmacists, as well as corporations (and their executives) in criminal and civil matters.

Mr. Friedman has lived in the Greater Valley Glen area for 42 years, attending its elementary, junior high and high schools. As a youth, he was involved in many community activities and attained the rank of Eagle Scout. He presently is Vice Chair of a California State Bar Commission, an officer of a local religious day school, and is an Assistant Scoutmaster. Mr. Friedman and his wife have three children.
